Inspiring Your Child to Learn about the World or United States By Just Opening Your Mailbox….

Have you ever wanted to teach your children about other countries or about the United States without leaving your home for long?  Well join Sam and Sophia on an adventure with your children.  Little Passports is an activity kit that you can do with your children.  You can choose your subscription plan and duration and enjoy hearing the adventures that Sam and Sophia go on.  You can sign up for one or both of the subscriptions and follow their exciting adventure around the USA or the World.  This is a great way to teach your children about culture, geography, and history.  This is also a great way to inspire a love of geography.

My children had a blast walking around our town of Fort Mill, South Carolina with their camera that came in their kit and experience their town while reading about Sam and Sophia.  As two children on the spectrum, they felt as though they made a new friend that did not require for them to do much other than to explore their town.  This was also a great social outing to tie into their social skills curriculum because it gave them the opportunity to talk to people in the community about what they were doing and then come back home and use their maps to point out different locations and as their parent, I used their social studies lessons from the previous school year to help them make points on their maps.

Graciously, Little Passports is giving LKFOA a three-month subscription to a lucky entrant.  So what I need you to do is to go to their Facebook page and like them and sign up for their newsletter and come back and comment that you did this to enter the contest. This contest will end September 14th, 2013.  Your kids will enjoy having Sam and Sofia in their home!!

I have been made aware that in order to sign up for the newsletter, you need to click the Little Passports Link on their website.  Thank you!

  1. Done and done!

As a professional geographer with two boys, ages 3 and 7, I really believe in supporting our children’s curiosity about the world around them. This product looks awesome – engaging and educational, with fun thrown in, too. 🙂

Just so you know, I had to go to the main webpage to sign up for the newsletter. The tab on the facebook page wouldn’t let me fill in my information. It said “this promotion has ended”. I was able to “like” the company from facebook, though.
